You will contribute to the design, development, and support of systems critical to investment operations and reporting capabilities, enabling investment professionals to make informed decisions and improve efficiency.About The RoleThis is a hands-on engineering role combining technical expertise with strong business engagement. You will work with investment professionals, analysts, and operations teams to understand their needs and deliver solutions supporting portfolio management, data analysis, and regulatory reporting. You will translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technology and collaborate across the technology landscape. You will be involved in Level 3 production support and ensure effective handover to operational teams.You will primarily focus on application development aligned to core skillsets, with opportunities to explore broader technology areas and contribute to evolving platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack (C#.NET, Python, etc) applications and services supporting investment operations, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.Build and maintain data integration and transformation pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SQL-based technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.Contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native architecture, leveraging Microsoft Azure services effectively.Promote and implement engineering best practices, including test automation, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.Explore and apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and automation to improve engineering efficiency and solution quality.About The CandidateWe are looking for someone who thrives in an Agile environment, is self-motivated, and embraces continuous improvement.
