Transport for London (TfL) is looking for a Human Factors (HF) Engineer to join our Systems Performance & Integration team and help shape the future of TfL’s assets and infrastructure across a diverse portfolio of projects and modes of transportation.In this role you will provide professional human factors engineering expertise to our Engineering and Asset Strategy function supporting Asset Refurbishment, System Upgrades and Network Developments. You will be required to work within multi-disciplinary engineering teams, adapting theory to deal with the reality of our investment programme. This position will require you to work with operations and programme management teams as well as maintain and implement network and programme human factors processes and tools and deliver human factors requirements and designs. You will ensure technical compliance and provide human factors assurance to contribute to a safe and performing transport system.Building collaborative working relationships with colleagues in related disciplines is essential, promoting TfL human factors capabilities internally, and externally through liaison with suppliers, other external partners and transportation operators will be an important part of your remit.
