Engineer

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Role Overview:

Support engineering design from land appraisal through to construction and adoption. Supervise site works, liaise with statutory bodies, and ensure developments meet technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with early infrastructure delivery (services, foundations, diversions).
  • Ensure compliance with Technical Approvals and statutory specifications.
  • Oversee progress of roads, sewers, and streetlights to adoption.
  • Provide technical support to construction teams.
  • Support tender processes with Technical and Commercial teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in document management systems.
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and innovative.
  • Able to manage competing priorities.
  • A strong team player with clear communication skills.
  • Confident with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Construction-related qualification preferred.
