OverviewThe Fabric Engineer will provide a variety of building services engineering maintenance tasks to client properties throughout the Weybridge site. This will include carpentry and fabric-related repairs, and basic plumbing, maintenance and installation. The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.ResponsibilitiesFabric-related PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set timeframes so the customer expectations are exceeded.Other types of building services maintenance to include exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry related tasks.External ground works maintenance duties.Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issues of Permits to work.Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.QualificationsPlumbing bias Fabric Engineer: NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing; NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualificationsCarpentry bias Fabric Engineer: NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification OR time served multi trades operative who has considerable carpentry and joinery experienceApplicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred.IPAD / PASMAFull UK Driving License, Disability ConfidentDisability and InclusionAbout Disability ConfidentA Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
