Copello are working on behalf of a Defence Prime to recruit a Facilities Operative in South London on a permanent basis.In this role, you’ll take a hands-on approach to maintaining and improving the site — carrying out daily upkeep, repairs, and general support to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-presented working environment for staff and visitors.What you’ll doTackle general repairs and upkeep across the site (basic plumbing, carpentry, painting).Check and respond to issues with building systems and equipment.Support office moves, furniture setups, and layout changes.Oversee contractors and suppliers working on-site.Assist with grounds care, waste management, and seasonal tasks (e.g., gritting).Contribute to wider facilities projects and team improvements.What we’re looking forPrevious experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building support role.Practical skills with tools and general repairs.Organised, reliable, and customer-focused.Able to work independently or as part of a team.Eligible to gain UK Security Clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
