Field Service Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific Instruments, on a permanent basis.
The main product groups that will be supported are Chromatography (GC/LC) and Material Characterisation (FTIR, UV/Vis and Thermal). Full product training will be given.
This position is Field Based, but the successful candidate should be based in the Belfast or Dundalk area. The territory is Northern Ireland as well as Republic of Ireland with occasional travel across UK and Mainland Europe.
About the role:
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform field service as advised by the call dispatch staff/system in conjunction with the Team Leader, carrying our repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and installation. Provide onsite user training on defined product groups Maintains personal service spares issued and inventory records to the highest standard Able to promote/sell instruments and service products including consumables and service contractsAbout you:
To be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:
HND or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Science, Biotechnology or similar discipline. An understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation as well awareness of instrument applications a benefit. Experience in the above product lines or Inorganic (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AA) would be an advantage Experience of working in GMP environments preferred Full Irish Driving License. Apply:
