Overview

Field Service Engineer required for a growing company within the automation sector. This is a great opportunity to join an industry leading company with a 50-year history, offering daily variety and ongoing training opportunities.

Location: Southampton, England, United Kingdom. Salary: up to GBP 36,500 DOE + overtime rates + 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + company van + door to door travel + fuel and expenses card for business use + phone + laptop + contributory pension + ongoing training opportunities + paid sick leave + full tool kit and uniform. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30. Travel radius: home-based with typical coverage of a 1:2 hour radius, with potential nationwide travel and rare overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs on customer sites
• Inspections and routine servicing of equipment
• Support upgrades on systems, including software updates
• Support installation teams when required
• Covering Southern Patch: Swindon, Reading, Southampton, Salisbury, Bath
• Further national travel and very occasional overnight stay when required

Qualifications

• Hold a level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering
