OverviewFire Alarm Small Works Engineer – Mobile London. Based in or around the M25 area. Salary to £45,000 per annum, plus OT and a company van. Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours per week).LocationLondon/Mobile (based anywhere around the M25).What you will doLead small works installation duties as part of a team, from survey to completion of small works tasks.Supervise installation activity to meet client and EMCOR specific requirements.Install fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 Pt 1:2013 and BRE/LPS1014 installation rules.Undertake duties and responsibilities, including training and medicals, as required for working in radiological and explosive controlled areas where applicable.Manage van stock to ensure materials are available to complete works.Complete installation/modification paperwork and review colleague paperwork for submission.Who you will beProven ability to install containment and cabling related to fire detection and alarm systems.Experience working in industrial environments.Proven ability to install complex networked addressable fire detection and alarm systems.17th/18th Edition Electrical qualification.Knowledge of relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1–2013, BS 6266 Pt 1–2013, BS 7273 standards.FIA training: Fire Detection Design (Unit 1) and Installation and Testing (Unit 4).Benefits25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, Holiday Buy Scheme (up to 5 days), Discount Shopping, Gym, Days Out, extensive Learning & Development opportunities including progression opportunities, and more.About EMCOR UKEMCOR UK delivers facilities management by combining engineering heritage with innovation.
