As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for attending service requests from our valued clients. Your role will involve servicing and maintaining addressable and non-addressable fire systems, DDA systems, and security systems. Service and maintain fire alarm systems, security alarms, emergency lighting systems, and DDA compliant systems. Complete and compile maintenance engineer reports and site survey reports. Respond to fault calls for fire alarm systems and security alarm systems. Maintain professional and clear customer contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all inquiries. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while upholding Photuris\' positive reputation. Participate in the on-call rota, weekend work, and overtime as required by the company. Requirements
Proven experience in the Fire & Security industry. Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to resolve issues logically and efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and complete necessary documentation. Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and drawings. Initiative-driven with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills. Educate clients on available system alternatives and solutions when applicable. Nice to have (not essential)
18th Edition/Electrical knowledge Experience of working with leading manufacturers – Kentec, CTEC, Hochiki, Apollo, Xtralis, Ziton and Gent Further Information
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, 8 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Location: London and surrounding areas, with flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required. Hotel stays may be necessary on an ad-hoc basis.
