Fire & Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer - Midlands based with National coverage

Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply, and installation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we help prevent, detect, and monitor fire and security risks for our customers nationwide. We are currently seeking a Midlands-based Fire & Security Project Engineer who is willing to travel frequently.

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum

Role Overview: A self-motivated Engineer working with the Project Manager on projects from inception to completion, including site supervision, man management, and multisystem commissioning across the UK.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of CCTV, Fire, Intruder, Access Control, and Nurse Call systems.
• Attend project sites to oversee progress, provide technical input, and support execution.
• Conduct system commissioning, handovers, and end-user training for small systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Sales and Installation Managers for seamless project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and maintain communication with clients.
• Conduct technical and quality audits, including NSI compliance.
• Manage workload independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Strong IT skills, including configuring fire and security systems.
• Valid UK driving license and flexibility to travel.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in fire & security industry, with knowledge of installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Technical expertise in major fire & security systems and large-scale projects.
• Experience managing projects across single-site and multi-site environments.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving license.
