You will be given responsibility and ownership of your tasks during your internship, doing real and challenging work within your team.This internship is for a Junior Data Science Engineer and will consist of a main project focused on data analytics and visualization of Flight Physics data, with additional shorter tasks to give exposure to other subjects.On your main project you will support the development of frameworks for visualization (based on a three-tier web app architecture) that enable Engineers to produce customizable visualizations using static and dynamic data.You will contribute to innovation projects by applying modern data analytics and machine learning algorithms to analyze Flight Physics data sets, focusing on visualizations that support strategic transformations.RequirementsOpen to Undergraduates only; candidates must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.Application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability for the role.An undergraduate student studying for at least two years in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Engineering, or a similar technical subject.Some experience with software development or coding.Curious mindset with the desire to learn and build understanding.Ability to manage problems and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, self-motivated, and focused on personal development.Creativity and desire to innovate and develop new capabilities.Prior knowledge of Python, Dash & Plotly, React, or Typescript would be advantageous but is not required.Security and ComplianceYou will be subject to a BPSS check.
