Functional Safety Engineer (Contract – Outside IR35) Industry Sector: Automotive Location: Warwickshire Rate: Open to discussion

We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to support a confidential engineering project on a contract basis. This role is outside IR35 and offers flexibility on rate for the right individual.

About You Proven experience in functional safety engineering within an OEM, Tier 1, or complex systems environment Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or similar safety standards Hands-on experience with safety analysis methods and tools Confident communicator, able to work effectively with design, systems, and validation teams
