Our Building Services teams have worked on projects ranging from data centres for large tech companies to headquarters of Deutsche Bank and Diageo. As a graduate in the team, you could play a key part in our next big project.The Role You'll PlayAs a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you’ll join a team that specialises in the design of exciting construction projects in the UK and worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across our multi‑disciplinary practice, you’ll provide specialist consultancy input on projects across sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail and critical systems (data centres). Under the guidance of our team of experienced engineers, you’ll undertake detailed mechanical building services engineering design and analysis, translate client needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems and more) with sustainability at the forefront.You’ll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, supported by accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IMechE towards achieving chartership.The Skills You'll BringOn target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.Have a passion for innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for the built environment.You’ll demonstrate a desire for personal and professional development and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Digital engineering is a focus at Cundall; ideally, you’ll have an understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo), or at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB).You are organised and methodical in your approach to managing tasks and priorities, with good time management and ability to meet deadlines.You are collaborative, able to empathise with clients’ needs, and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
