A large portion of learning is on-the-job, working with your manager and mentor to collect meaningful experiences. The GDP is a launchpad for your career, offering tools, experiences and support to work on meaningful projects and collaborate with industry leaders to deliver outcomes for complex challenges. You will be involved in on‑the‑job training and exposure to projects from concept to construction, supporting feasibility studies, scheme reports, impact assessments and the production of detailed designs to support the enhancement and renewal of lighting and electrical systems on public and private sector projects across the UK & Ireland. You will have the opportunity to influence Jacobs’ growth within our Power & Lighting team across national infrastructure, urban developments and specialist sites.
