We’re working with a confidential leader in next-generation satellite communications technology who is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their elite engineering team at the onsite innovation center on an Outside IR35 contract basis. This is an immediate start role for a forward-thinking engineer ready to make a direct impact on the future of global connectivity.

This is more than just another contract — you will be supporting developing novel terminal electronics that steer signals electronically and manage network paths autonomously. The designs emphasize cross‑network compatibility—satellite and terrestrial alike—and are targeted at across all sectors including aerospace.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be working on the Hardware Design, the client are looking for an engineer experienced in schematic and PCB design (Altium preferred) to lead projects from concept through production. You’ll drive design reviews with clear technical insights, perform hardware bring-up and testing to meet strict safety and certification standards, and collaborate closely with RF, Software, Systems, and Mechanical teams. This role involves developing cost-effective, manufacturable designs spanning high-end aeronautical to consumer applications, supporting product certification for CE, FCC, and military standards (MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-810H), and conducting signal and power integrity analyses.
