Highway Development Control Engineer – London3 months – extension likely£300 - £320 per dayAre you a Development Control Engineer looking for a new challenge?Our client is an ambitious local authority who are seeking a Development Control Engineer with experience in commenting on and reviewing planning applications to join them on a contract basis, initially for 3 months. Responsibilities
Provide pre-planning advice to developers and consultants, assess planning applications and negotiate with developers to secure planning obligations Contribute to the preparation and submission of documents for appeals and public inquiries Prepare reports on the impact of planning proposals on the highway and public realm for presenting to the Planning Department and Planning Committee Attendance at meetings and formal hearings as required
Requirements
Experience of working in a local authority
