About the Role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Highways/Drainage Engineer to support a range of local highway improvement schemes. The successful candidate will take a lead technical role within the team, overseeing the design work of others while managing their own workload. The work will primarily involve supporting non-highways development projects with local road and drainage design, working with a DMB (Design and Build) contract under a Local Authority (LA) client.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead on the design of local and regional highways improvement projects. ·Undertake design reviews and provide technical oversight of other designers' work. ·Prepare and check drawings and documentation to appropriate standards. ·Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. ·Support highway drainage design tasks where required. ·Ensure all work complies with relevant technical, safety, and legal standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:
