OverviewJob Title: HVAC Construction EngineerLocation: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, SomersetCompensation: Attractive Salary + BenefitsRole Type: Full time / Permanent The Role As an HVAC Construction Engineer, you'll lead, manage and motivate the team through implementation of best practice, support continuous improvement programmes to improve process/procedures and ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site license requirements. Day to day, you'll deliver HVAC Construction Workpacks to support the MEH Alliance programme as well as providing and demonstrating a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project.
Enable the use of the Procon system to support the construction works and progress reporting of the MEH Alliance. Enable the requesting and compliance of the MEH Alliance for the Work Authorisation and Permit systems operated by NNB. Enable the co-ordination of safe access routing to workfaces to support the MEH Alliance construction works. Enable the topographical and other surveying required to support the MEH Alliance construction works. Prioritisation and ownership of documentation to enable construction works as per the level 4 plan, e.g. T-3 months accepted prior to works. Ensuring documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week based at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. Essential experience
Experience working on major construction projects with a proven track record in a highly regulated sector and knowledge and experience in Safe Systems of Work. Experience delivering and operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures.
Qualifications
HNC qualification or equivalent vocational training and experience of installing HVAC systems. CCSNSG certificate OR pass CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test prior to starting.
