Overview

ICT Systems Engineer / Cyber Security Specialist role at Honeywell Building Automation. This position is focused on Operational Technology (OT) Security within the Building Automation team in the UK. The role is 100% remote with up to 50% travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures for building automation systems
  • Lead assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps
  • Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies to protect against cyber threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of building automation solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong experience in OT/Cybersecurity engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

We Value

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, GICSP OR GIAC
  • Experience with industrial control systems and building automation
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and diverse team
