Information Security Engineer – Glasgow – up to £65K plus benefits (Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the Glasgow office).

Change Digital are supporting a leading professional services firm in the growth of their global InfoSec team. Reporting to the Cyber Solutions Lead, you’ll partner with IT teams across cloud, infrastructure and networks to deliver security assurance, design reviews, risk assessments and best-practice guidance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted InfoSec advisor on projects and internal changes.
• Review technical designs and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Lead cloud security assurance (Azure/MS 365), providing recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain hardening standards across technologies.
• Liaise with external testers and track remediation actions through to completion.
• Support onboarding of new technologies into Cyber Defence.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, vulnerabilities, and risks.

Qualifications / Skills

• Proven background in Information/Cyber Security with a strong technical focus.
• Solid understanding of Azure/MS 365 E5 security suite and core IT technologies.
• Expertise in risk assessment, design review, and security toolsets (e.g., MS Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Rapid7).
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform under pressure and mentor others.
