Infrastructure Engineer - Bristol (Hybrid) | £50,000-£60,000 Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking IT Services team, where you'll play a key role in delivering, supporting, and evolving a global cloud-first infrastructure. This is a permanent role based in Bristol, with hybrid working. What You'll Do You'll provide expert 3rd line support across infrastructure, platforms, servers, and networks, ensuring the smooth delivery of business-critical services. Your work will cover physical, virtual, and cloud environments - from wired/wireless networking to SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms. Key responsibilities include: Supporting and operating core platforms, hardware, and operating systems. Ensuring the integrity and security of networks, systems, and data. Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver smooth operations. Contributing to migrations, deployments, and testing new technologies. Participating in on-call support for escalations as required. What You'll Bring We're looking for someone with strong experience in IT operations, confident in taking ownership and working across complex infrastructure. You'll bring: Knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure. Familiarity with ITIL/IT Service Management practices. Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, load balancers, WiFi deployment). Skills in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Terraform). Understanding of security solutions (firewalls, Zero Trust).
