IT Infrastructure Engineer (Manchester City Centre - Hybrid) £45,000 - £55,000 Role: We're recruiting for a well rounded engineer to come into a systems and applications focused engineering role. The role will be a split between BAU activities and Projects within an internal enterprise environment. Alongside the ability to gain hands on experience in a well-funded, large, internal IT estate, you'll be working with a well stacked team of professional engineers with backgrounds from consultancies and vendor SMEs. Company: The organisation has recently undergone a restructure, which has led to new funding for IT and a company-wide initiative for new installs, refreshes, improved security and infrastructure centralisation/restructure/upgrades. There's at least a 3-year program of project work signed off currently. Key Responsibilities: Implementing and deploying greenfield infrastructure design mainly focused around Wintel & MS infrastructure. Managing, building and deploying VMware Clusters, ensuring high availability (VCP Preferrable). Maintaining BAU Operations both on-prem and cloud, including raising change requests.
