What You’ll Do

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across on-premises and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments.
  • Manage virtualized and containerized platforms (VMware, Docker).
  • Support Windows and Linux servers, ensuring availability and performance.
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and adopt infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform).
  • Participate in monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical issues, collaborating with developers, operations, and compliance.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects modernising systems and processes, with opportunities to lead smaller initiatives as you grow.

What You’ll Need

  • A foundation in infrastructure or systems engineering (around 3–5 years’ experience, internships included).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
  • Good communicator, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Terraform or other IaC tools.
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar) - Advantageous.
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Identity & access technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
  • A good grasp of Windows Server, networking fundamentals, and cloud services.
  • An interest in learning automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) and expanding into DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
