Who you are

You're a skilled infrastructure professional with deep expertise across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. You design and maintain resilient IT environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive long-term solutions that enhance performance and security. You collaborate effectively across teams and vendors, ensure compliance with standards, and continuously upskill yourself and others to reduce risk and improve service delivery. You provide expert guidance and act as a trusted technical liaison.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis, contributing to long-term solutions through effective incident and problem management.
  • Deploy infrastructure components that meet organisational needs and align with engineering standards.
  • Manage and support enterprise hardware and software, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to support infrastructure and application requirements.
  • Upskill in infrastructure areas and train team members, promoting broad system coverage and reducing single points of failure.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of NHSPS applications and industry trends, offering expert advice and acting as a technical liaison.

Where you'll be

We have a hybrid model, with weekly travel across the Midlands area for this role and regular presence in our London office.
