They are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer / Draughtsman to join their team and develop experience in industrial automation and bespoke machinery design.This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, learn from senior designers, and build a strong career in industrial automation.What’s in it For You?Structured training and mentoring from experienced engineersExposure to cutting-edge automation projects and bespoke machineryOpportunity to develop skills across mechanical design, CAD, and project workflowsCollaborative and supportive working cultureCareer development opportunities in a growing businessThe RoleAs a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer / Draughtsman, you will assist in the design and development of components and automation solutions while building experience in project delivery and manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the design and development of components/products using 3D CADProduce and update drawings, site layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)Support senior engineers in conceptualising new automation solutionsLearn to manage project tasks from conception to deliveryLiaise with internal teams and, when appropriate, customers and suppliersEnsure designs are accurate, complete, and comply with quality standardsContribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouRecent graduate or early-career engineer with good working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (other CAD experience a plus)Interest in industrial automation, bespoke machinery, or special-purpose machinesStrong attention to detail and a desire to learnSelf-starter with a collaborative mindsetFluent in English and presentable for professional interactionsEligible to live and work in the UKIf you’re an ambitious early-career engineer or graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in industrial automation and build your career in mechanical design, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
