OverviewMid-Level Full Stack Engineer | 2 days a week in a Central Bristol office | Salary Range: £45-60kWould you like to spend your day-job helping the UK become net-zero?These opportunities don't come around too often - I'm working with a start-up who are supporting the UK with its goal of becoming Net Zero by 2050!The work you'll do will genuinely help save the planet!They're currently a team of ten and want to add a Junior or Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to their existing team of amazing engineers in Bristol (the calibre in the team is exceptional!). After launching in early 2024, they've already built an impressive customer base & significant revenue generation. Their next step is to develop their suite of products further as they look to cover new areas within the renewable energy sector.You'll be working on a range of exciting projects across the full stack (in TypeScript) and will ideally have particular strengths in formulating well designed & clean frontend UIs, but also the ability to build complex APIs on the backend. Responsibilities
Work on a range of projects across the full stack (TypeScript) with emphasis on frontend UI design and backend APIs. Collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment, taking on diverse projects with autonomy. Contribute to product development in the renewable energy sector and help expand the product suite.
What you'll need / Qualifications
Commercial experience working full stack with TypeScript (Node.js & React). Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and adapt from slower, larger organisations. Hybrid-working with a couple of days a week in Bristol. Strong user-focus and designing products that impact users. Desire to develop skills across the full stack (including infrastructure & DevOps). Ability to work autonomously with support from experienced engineers. Passion for environmentally-focused products or societal impact.
