Our client, an innovative technology business in Bedford, is looking for a Lead Electronic Design Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role, driving design excellence today and building a team for tomorrow. Responsibilities
Take ownership of electronic design, from concept through to production. Oversee firmware development, ensuring integration and functionality align with business goals. Work closely with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps and technical direction. In the longer term, recruit and lead a team of engineers, heading up electronic and firmware development.
Qualifications
Degree-level education in Electronics Hardware Engineering (or equivalent senior-level experience). Strong background in mixed signal circuit design. Expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, and design using Altium. Solid understanding of EMC design principles and designing to meet industry regulations. Experience working with firmware development, with the ability to guide and oversee integration. The ability to balance leadership with being technically hands-on.
