Job description

Design and development experience on automotive Glass, seals and finisher systems. Expertise in dynamic sealing, glass run sealing, glass guidance etc, from concept, design, test and validation to launch. Good understanding of latest Automotive technologies, safety glass standards, manufacture processes and materials, including extrusion, injection moulding, stamping, roll forming, stretch bending, EPDM, TPE, coatings, metals, plastics. Robust understanding of the complete product lifecycle and work in a cross-functional environment with suppliers and internal stakeholders to design, modify and validate glass, seals and finisher components. Establish and maintain technical direction and engineering standards for the Door Closures domain and align with the broader Body Engineering organization to support organisation growth and global objectives. Drive technical resolution, issue management, and engineering deliverables for seals and Door domain on future model programs, ensuring full compliance with Engineering Requirements, DVP, DFMEA and DFM. Skilled experience in GD&T, Catia V5/3dX and PLM tools.
