Overview

Lead Infrastructure Engineer - (High End Residential) £45,000 - £60,000 + benefits. Fantastic Opportunity for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s professional team that creates the best high-end homes and superyachts in the world.

This position requires knowledge of the infrastructure and installation in all aspects of a project, and the ability to liaise with the entire project team, onsite contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret the schematics, construction drawings.
• Ensure the delivery of equipment, consumables, and tools for assigned projects.
• Installation and termination of structured cabling systems.
• Overall running of the infrastructure tasks of a project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running, labour requirements and deadline management.
• Maintain communication with the project team and liaise with site contractors and/or clients.
• Maintain accurate up-to-date information regarding overall on-site progress.
• Set standards on a project and quality-control the installation of infrastructure projects.

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge and understanding of cable certification for both copper and fibre installations.
• Experience and competence in the use of cabling certification tools.
• Extensive experience running projects and the ability to manage large complex projects.
• Efficient, hardworking, and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Commitment to safe working practices and maintaining Health and Safety requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Travel is a part of this role; willingness to travel within the UK and the EU.
