QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
15+ years of U.S.-based engineering and managerial experience
Solid record of accomplishment in managing and executing large, multi-faceted engineering projects
Strong mechanical design engineering experience in the commercial sector
Knowledge of local, state, and codes
Deep knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Proficiency in energy modeling tools (eQUEST, Trane Trace, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP)
Eligible to work in the US without need for sponsorship
Ability to effectively manage time and be comfortable with frequent deadlines and transitions
Ability to effectively work with others in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas
Strong technical writing skills and technical documentation skills with the ability to prepare presentations and reports
Fluent in English
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage and direct the workflow of others
Strong financial management skills and business acumen
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Willing to participate in continuing education by completing professional development classes and attending seminars
Qualifications :
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
MBA or other certification by accredited groups
Experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, and design-build construction
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Revit experience
Knowledge of the USGBC LEED Rating system and standards

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER
This is a full-time position that operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position must be able to work out of the Camden County office at least three days a week.
As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee the design and execution of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects. You'll collaborate with clients and engineers to ensure compliance with codes and mentor junior staff. Additionally, you'll conduct load calculations, manage QA/QC processes, and occasionally act as the Engineer of Record, driving project success and enhancing team capabilities.
