Life Cycle Engineers support Defence products through in-service technical support, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation. They influence design and product maturity across the lifecycle, aligning with customer and business needs.
The Equipment Health Management (EHM) aspect covers the SATAA model: Sense, Acquire, Transfer, Analyse, & Act. We offer a caring, inclusive, and innovative environment with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and integrate end-to-end EHM systems and services to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Define, investigate, and resolve in-service technical issues, establishing root causes and corrective actions.
- Manage issues affecting Maturity, Lifecycle Cost, Reliability, and Maintainability, maintaining Design Intent.
- Prepare and deliver technical communications to stakeholders and regulators.
- Develop technical publications and support continuous product improvement.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and influence product design with in-service experience.
- Collaborate with partners and Lead System Integrators on EHM solutions.
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering for complex solutions supporting electrification and digital transformation.
- Stay updated on technology developments and leverage low TRL capabilities through university collaborations.
- Contribute to aftermarket support strategies and coordinate project packages within budgets.
Candidate Profile
Qualified to degree level or equivalent in STEM, with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Controls). Knowledge of Gas Turbine characteristics and in-service operation is advantageous. Capable of leading complex, ambiguous tasks and supporting cross-functional teams.
