We are looking for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer for one of our long-standing clients based near Wigan. My client is a global manufacturer and have been operating in the area for over 100 years.

An exciting opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join this great company on their 4-shift rota. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation on all production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing process.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

* £50,000 - £52,700

* OT at premium rates.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

* Monday – Friday. (8am – 4pm / 6am – 2pm / 10pm – 6am / 2pm – 10pm) – 4-week rotation.

* Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize downtime.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability.

* Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

* Recognised Engineering Qualifications.

* Mechanical qualifications.

* Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.

* Welding and fabrication skills.

* Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
