Job Title: Maintenance Team Member

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £25,000 to £27,500 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible shifts including some weekend availability)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Team Member to join a well-established hospitality site in Portsmouth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in general building maintenance who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a high standard of upkeep across the property.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance tasks including painting, decorating, and minor repairs

Performing basic plumbing duties such as unblocking drains or replacing taps

*

Changing light bulbs and carrying out basic electrical checks

*

Responding to maintenance issues across guest rooms and communal areas

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

Previous experience in a general maintenance or handyman role

*

Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and minor repairs

*

A proactive and positive attitude

*

No formal qualifications required – just proven maintenance experience
