Role Overview

We are recruiting self-motivated Manufacturing Engineers to join the Engineering Producibility Team. You will influence new designs using NPI tools to ensure manufacturability, improve existing designs, and translate these into world-class processes meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute Manufacturing Product Introduction activities, designing methods of manufacture and process steps.
• Apply DFMEA/PFMEA knowledge to influence product definition and final manufacturing processes.
• Create and validate Production Technical Instructions to meet design intent and requirements.
• Act as the manufacturing technical authority for the product, managing first-offs, new part numbers, resequencing, and tooling introduction.
• Represent manufacturing engineering within cross-functional teams for your assigned parts.

Candidate Profile

• Experience with fabrications, valves, complex assemblies, machining, or critical classified components.
• Degree or equivalent in engineering or related field, with experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements

Must hold UK nationality and Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats. Rolls-Royce supports the application for clearance if needed. Due to the nature of work, additional background checks for dual nationals may be required.
