With strong engineering acumen and 3+ years experience in CAD/CAM modelling, the Manufacturing Engineer will have a holistic understanding of the manufacturing process and how to support and enhance it by developing, implementing, and optimising production methods in line with aerospace industry standards. The Manufacturing Engineer role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor at the Bristol branch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Development & Optimisation Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for aerospace components. Create and maintain 3D models and CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Evaluate and improve existing production methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes to meet current and future requirement Ensure all processes comply with aerospace quality and safety standards. Technical Support Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
