Key Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed mechanical design as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and contractors
• Attend technical and project group meetings
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legislative building standards
• Advise on energy efficiency and sustainability
• Design bespoke mechanical systems for specific sites/projects
• Oversee installation and specify maintenance procedures
• Use industry-standard design tools including CAD and BIM (Revit)
• Conduct condition surveys and prepare client reports

Candidate Profile

• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a similar mechanical design engineering role
• Progress towards (or ambition to achieve) Chartered Engineer status
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with a variety of stakeholders
• Proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES, and Hevacomp
• An organised and detail-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous learning
