Mechanical Design Engineer Nottingham Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) Hours : 37.5 hours per week, flexible start/finish times with early finish on Friday Benefits : 25 Days + Bank Holidays, Private Healthcare The Company : Our client is a specialist in providing custom-engineered solutions to industries that experience harsh industrial environments, and heavy-duty process's. With the exciting new projects ahead, they're currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dedicated team. The Role : As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out all the design work required across project once they've been one. This will look like: Develops the 3D & 2D models for the product and for customer approval May do a DFM peer review with production present Produce 2D detailed fabrication drawings Mechanical calculations The Components being modelled will be shafts, blades, seals and linkages. These will be a mixture of sheet metal fabricated components and machined components. The Candidate : The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will very much be attitude driven, with the ability to work well within a tight-knit, friendly team.
