We are looking for a Mechanical Design & Development Engineer to join our growing client in Milton Keynes. This would suit a candidate who has at least 2 years’ experience taking designs from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ + experience working in a Mechanical Design, Development Engineer or Product Design role designing bespoke products and parts using various manufacturing methods including: sheet metal, machined components, injection moulded plastic or die cast parts and components or similar.

Key Responsibilities: Design from concept for manufacture bespoke components and enclosed products using a variety of manufacturing methods. Undertake testing, product development and analysis/ simulations to validate feasibility and performance. Understanding of Tolerances ideal Work cross functionally with manufacturing, procurement and quality departments to ensure smooth project delivery

Key Attributes: Proficient in 3D CAD with Solidworks being preferred. Would consider Inventor or Creo Adaptable, proactive and team player who is able to use their initiative. ...
