ROLE- Mechanical Engineer\n\nTERM- Permanent\n\nLOCATION – Liverpool\n\nSALARY - £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)\n\nMy client designs and manufactures equipment for Pharmaceutical industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nAt least 3 years’ experience in a similar Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering position\nDegree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar\nPrevious experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment\nExperience working with machinery would be beneficial\nA background in Water related industries would also be ideal – Specifically waste water!\nBe proficient using 3D CAD software, they use SolidWorks and AutoCAD\nKnowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes\nGood theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written\nProficient using MS Office\nExcellent organisational skills and time management skills\nHave the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team \n\n The Mechanical Engineer role will involve:\n\nUsing CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings\nDesigning machinery in the Pharmaceutical sector\nLiaising with manufacturing providers and clients\nCreating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans\nUpdating 3D models and drawings\nCreating BOMs\nChecking drawings for sign off\nWorking in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects \n\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
