Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Bristol-area

Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a (DOE)

Full-Time | Permanent

Carbon60 have partnered with leading manufacturing client in the Bristol area who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing new mechanical products and improving existing ones
• Creating bespoke solutions for customer-specific requirements
• Managing engineering projects from concept to completion
• Producing technical drawings and conducting FEA analysis
• Preparing reports and maintaining compliance documentation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD systems
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Experience with aluminium structures (preferred)
• ERP system knowledge and commercial awareness
