The Opportunity A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting nuclear infrastructure projects. This is a hybrid role involving remote work and site visits with a home office in Glasgow, contributing to the safety and reliability of key defence assets.
We would also welcome applications from these industries: oil & gas, marine, defence, energy, and heavy industrial.
This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Mechanical Design Engineer, Safety Case Engineer, Systems Engineer, Plant Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Nuclear Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Project Engineer, or Engineering Consultant.
Your duties and responsibilities will be Lead and assess design changes and concessions to ensure compliance and safety. Present technical substantiations to internal safety review committees.
