Mobile Electrical Engineer\nPeterborough/Cambridge based - To cover 2 sites, 1 in Castle Donington and 1 in Stansted\n£40 - £41,000 per annum \n\nOur client is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to work across 2 sites, 1 in the East Midlands and 1 in Stansted. The ideal location for this role is someone based in or around Peterborough.Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive services while collaborating with on site maintenance staff when needed.\n\nDescription:\n\nThe purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM’s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

\nAll work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with all Health and Safety legislation.\n\nComplete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.\nRespond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.\nPrioritise electrical maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.\nDeliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance\nConduct emergency lighting tests and repairs\nIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.\nEnsure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times\nAdvise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.\nCarry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.\nComplete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites\nAttend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.\nComply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with customer employees\nWork with company and customer employees to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times\nRequirements for this role:\n\nNVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.\nCity and Guilds 18th edition.\nValid driving license.\nOn offer is a permanent position paying a salary of up to £41,000 per annum, plus van and fuel card, with opportunity to boost earnings via call out and overtime.
