Overview

Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical assets. You'll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, supervise subcontractors when needed, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. Accurate documentation, risk assessments, and communication with the service desk are key parts of the role, along with supporting audits, surveys, and maintaining site standards.

Requirements

  • Recognised trade qualification such as C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, or MOET apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition and/or 2391 Inspection & Testing certification (Desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in building services maintenance (electrical, mechanical, or HVAC)
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility for call-outs and overtime
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Hours: 40 Hours per week + overtime

This is a dynamic role where you'll carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safe working practices. You'll work across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, using CAFM tools to log and report tasks. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to high-profile facilities.
