Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team, supporting a portfolio of high-profile sites across the East Midlands. This mobile role involves travel between locations to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all sites are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across multiple sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.
  • Liaise with site contacts and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Support minor installation and project works when needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous mobile maintenance experience and a qualification in either plumbing, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
  • Proven experience in a mobile maintenance role.
  • Qualified in one of the following: Plumbing (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or higher); Electrical (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3); Mechanical (e.g., HVAC, F-Gas, or similar).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the East Midlands and respond to out-of-hours emergencies if required.

Desirable

  • Multi-skilled across more than one trade.
  • Experience working on high-profile or commercial sites.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and digital reporting tools.
