New Era Technology is a global firm with a focus on People First, offering development opportunities, training, and competitive benefits.Summary: Asia Cloud-On-ramp project – The Perimeter Onramp network aims to establish a versatile service provider network that links DMZ infrastructure in main data centers to cloud and other third-party networks in colocation sites. The initiative shortens provisioning time for cloud connections and supports capacity or new cloud provider connectivity.Primary DutiesNetwork Infrastructure Design and Planning – Develop detailed technical specifications, network topology diagrams, and implementation plans for standardized DMZ, Colo, and DC deployments.Project Execution and Technical Implementation – Coordinate hands-on installation with the global data center team. Manage configuration and deployment of routers, switches, and firewalls. Coordinate with vendors, oversee cabling, and ensure changes follow procedures to minimize business disruption.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management – Work with senior network leads, project managers, and team members to meet technical and business objectives. Provide regular updates and serve as the primary technical contact for the environment build during the implementation lifecycle.Testing, Validation, and Quality Assurance – Execute test plans, perform post-implementation validation, and run rollback procedures as needed. Include network performance testing and site resilience testing to meet SLA requirements before production handover.Documentation, Knowledge Transfer, and Operational Handoff – Create technical documentation (network diagrams, configuration templates, operational procedures) and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with operations teams.CompetencyCloud, Juniper, Cisco Nexus 9K SeriesMandatory Skills & ExperienceExperience managing a global network platform, including Internet / B2B DMZsExperience testing and planning deployment of router and switch platformsIn-depth knowledge of data center design principles, products, and protocolsKnowledge of network security architectures, models, and methodologiesExtensive experience (Project Deployment) with Cisco Routers, Switches, Nexus, Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XR, Juniper JunOS, IDS/IPSExperience with firewalls – Juniper JunOs and Palo AltoSecurity hardening on various platforms and familiarity with industry best practicesAnalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExperience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong project management skillsBroad enterprise networking experience, preferably with exposure to the financial sectorOptional Skills & ExperienceExperience integrating with public cloud environmentsEducation & ExperienceREQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or EquivalentEXPERIENCE: Senior Level (7+ Years in Design with Cloud Infrastructure)LANGUAGE SKILLS: English / Local LanguagePhysical DemandsRegular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipmentRegular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling.
