DCT Recruitment is proud to be supporting one of the UKs leading industrial projects at the Shotton Mill site in Deeside. We are currently recruiting for experienced Piping Commissioning Engineers to join a dynamic, high-performing team working on a complex and time-critical commissioning phase. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in mechanical or piping systems, who is confident in interpreting technical drawings and ensuring all systems are ready for safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities: Verify correct installation of all pipework, supports, and routing as per design specifications. Read, interpret, and work from P&ID, isometric, and general arrangement drawings. Perform detailed inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with project standards. Identify and record any non-conformances or outstanding works through structured punch list processes. Liaise with welding inspectors and support quality assurance in line with industry codes and procedures. Support pressure testing, flushing, and final system handover activities.
