Position Overview

As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with our controller to ensure our equipment is always operational and ready for our customers. Your role will involve:

• Routine Maintenance: Conduct timely and efficient servicing and inspections.
• Issue Identification: Spot potential problems before they impact availability.
• Safety Ambassador: Promote safety for yourself and our customers through your work.

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Carry out routine servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines (75%)
• Machine Inspection: Perform visual and mechanical analyses to identify developing issues (20%)
• Minor Repairs: Complete minor repairs and installations as needed (5%)

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
• Experience in a related engineering function (around 3 years) or a formal apprenticeship qualification.
• A full driving license held for at least 2 years (subject to a DVLA check).

Working Conditions

This is a field-based role with a working pattern of Monday to Friday , including flexible start and finish times and working 1 Saturday in 3 at an overtime rate. You’ll be working a total of 43 hours per week .
