We are seeking an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to lead our South West regional SDF framework within the highways sector, ideally based in Bristol, Exeter, or Truro. This role can be full-time or part-time.Key Responsibilities:Develop professional, technically sound reports and liaise with specialists and clients, mainly in the highways sector.Manage and deliver projects with effective financial oversight.Assist in resource management and team development.Mentor and develop team members.Support all aspects of project delivery, including client relations, contractor coordination, quality control, and specialist management.Requirements:Technical expertise in geotechnical engineering and understanding of core principles.Design skills for retaining walls, foundations, and slope stabilization.Experience in consultancy, client relations, and project delivery within highways.Chartered or near-chartered professional qualification preferred.Proven experience in geotechnical report preparation, ground investigations, and design checks per Eurocode 7.Knowledge of UK design codes, contracts, and specifications.Ability to evaluate geotechnical software and work effectively in delivery teams.Don’t meet all criteria?
