Principal Engineer - Water Infrastructure \n UK-Wide | Hybrid Working \n Contract (Minimum 12 Months) \n Water Sector | Infrastructure & Environmental Projects \n \nA respected engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Engineer to join its expanding water infrastructure team. This is a senior technical leadership role for a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with expertise in network modelling, hydraulics, and feasibility design. \nThe position offers hybrid working from offices across the UK, with opportunities to contribute to high-impact water and wastewater projects that support sustainable development and community resilience.

\n \n Key Responsibilities \n- Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. \n- Conduct network modelling and hydraulic analysis to support planning and design. \n- Develop concept and feasibility designs for water systems.

\n- Ensure engineering solutions meet technical, regulatory, and client standards. \n- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers. \n- Support client engagement and project coordination.

\n \n Ideal Candidate \n- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent experience. \n- Strong technical background in water infrastructure, especially network modelling and hydraulics. \n- Experience in feasibility and concept design; detailed design is a plus.
