The role will be based in London or Epsom and will cover projects across the UK and beyond. We seek a technically strong professional with excellent communication and report-writing skills who will support us in the integration of our multidisciplinary teams. In addition to being technically accomplished, candidates will be good at client liaison and stakeholder management and will actively engage with the internal processes of a large multi-disciplinary consultancy.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical delivery of façade engineering services on single- and multidisciplinary projects, working within budget and to programme.Participate in internal technical networks and promote façade engineering issues to the wider AtkinsRéalis Building Design community.Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities (both internal and external). Contribute to bid-writing and winning work.Assist in developing the processes, tools and ethos of a growing façades team.Be a chartered engineer or qualified architect.Possess minimum 3 years' experience in façade design or delivery on major projects.Demonstrate proven ability to work alone and mentor others in at least two of the following areas: structural analysis, thermal analysis, embodied carbon assessment, specification authoring, concept design, glazing and curtain walling design, production of detail drawings, review of contractors\' designs, site inspection and supervision, or forensic analysis of existing façade defects.Possess good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Be an inquisitive individual who enjoys collaboration and the stimulation of exchanging ideas with others.Why work for AtkinsRéalis?We’re ranked as one of LinkedIn's Top 25 Companies and the Times Top 50 employers for women.
